GENERAL PROVISIONS

PASSENGER is a person transported by the carrier for a fee.
DOMESTIC ROAD TRANSPORT is transport within the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
TRANSPORT WITHIN THE EU is transport between two or more EU member states, including the Swiss Confederation.
INTERNATIONAL ROAD TRANSPORT is any transport between an EU member state and a country outside the EU.
VEHICLE is a bus or passenger vehicle with at least 9 seats, including the driver’s seat, intended exclusively for passenger transport.
TICKET is a document that entitles the passenger to transportation with the carrier under these General Conditions of Carriage.

CONTRACT OF CARRIAGE

Article 1
These General Conditions of Carriage define the mutual relations between the carrier and passengers using public road transport services and the conditions under which the carrier provides transportation for passengers and their luggage.

Article 2
The carrier applies the General Conditions of Carriage for passengers, luggage, and items according to the prices determined for each line or transport performed.

Article 3
The fare for passenger and luggage transport in public road transport is determined by the carrier.

Article 4
By purchasing a ticket, the passenger concludes a contract of carriage with the carrier.
The carrier undertakes to safely transport the passenger on the agreed route according to the published timetable, and the passenger undertakes to pay the transport fare.
The existence of the contract is proven by the ticket or a special agreement.

Article 5
The carrier must provide a seat to the passenger with a valid ticket and reservation and transport them according to the timetable. The passenger must keep the ticket during travel and present it upon request.

Article 6
Tickets are sold at authorized sales points, online, and in vehicles. Tickets may be in paper or electronic form. Tickets purchased online must be shown on a mobile device or printed.

Article 7
Tickets are generally issued for one-way travel for the specified date, time, and route. Return tickets may be purchased with validity indicated. The passenger must reserve a seat for the return trip. Return tickets may be valid on other carriers’ lines if agreements exist.

Article 8
Passengers may reserve seats at sales points, by phone, email, or other means, but must purchase reserved tickets no later than 6 hours before departure for international and EU transport. Otherwise, the reservation may be released. The carrier may change seat numbers but must provide an alternative seat.

Article 9
Reservations are not issued without a purchased ticket, except for return tickets. Reservation fees apply according to the price list.

Article 10
The carrier may grant commercial discounts for certain routes or categories of passengers.

Article 11
Passengers may cancel travel up to 6 hours before departure. A refund is issued minus 10% handling fee. Refunds for unused return tickets are calculated accordingly. No refund is given after the deadline.

Article 12
Refunds are processed only within deadlines and upon presentation of a valid ticket at the point of purchase or by written request. Refunds are paid to the specified bank account. Driving staff cannot issue refunds.

Article 13
Lost tickets or late cancellations are non-refundable. Passengers boarding another carrier’s vehicle by mistake are not entitled to refunds.

Article 14
Passengers must check ticket details immediately and report errors.

Article 15
Passengers may board or exit only at designated stops. They must arrive at least 10 minutes before departure. The carrier is not responsible for late passengers. During breaks, passengers must return on time. Early termination of travel does not entitle refund.

Article 16
Passengers must keep tickets and show them upon request. Discounted tickets require ID.

Article 17
Passengers may be excluded from travel if they disturb order, interfere with staff, or otherwise behave inappropriately. No refund is provided. Police assistance may be requested. Passengers must remain seated while the vehicle is moving.

Article 18
The following may not be transported:

  • persons carrying firearms (except authorized officers)
  • children under 15 without adult supervision
  • persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Article 19
Smoking (including e-cigarettes) and alcohol consumption are prohibited.

Article 20
In international and EU transport, passengers must comply with entry, customs, and legal requirements. Passengers without valid documents may be denied boarding. The carrier is not responsible for resulting damage.

Article 21
Hand luggage consists of smaller items kept by passengers. No fee is charged and the carrier is not liable for damage or loss.

Article 22
Passenger luggage includes suitcases, bags, etc., up to approx. 25 kg per item, subject to fee. Additional items (bicycles, boxes, etc.) may be transported for a fee. Bicycles must be announced 48 hours in advance. Wheelchairs and strollers are transported free for users. Usually up to 2 items allowed. Luggage tags must be issued.

Article 23
Passengers must declare luggage value exceeding 2,500 HRK. The carrier is liable up to that amount. Valuables must be kept in hand luggage.

Article 24
Passengers must compensate for damage caused by their luggage. Dangerous or prohibited items are not accepted.

Article 25
Senders of unaccompanied luggage must declare contents. The carrier is not liable for incorrect information.

Article 26
Animals are not allowed, except certified guide dogs accompanying blind passengers.

Article 27
Passengers must take all luggage upon arrival. Found items are handed to lost and found. The carrier is not responsible for items left behind.

Article 28
For journeys over 250 km, passengers have rights in case of delay/cancellation:

  • re-routing or refund
  • meals/refreshments for delays over 90 minutes
  • accommodation up to €80 per night (max. 2 nights)
  • assistance in case of accident
    These rights do not apply in severe weather or force majeure.

FINAL PROVISIONS

Article 29
Vehicles with video surveillance must be marked. Recordings are confidential and accessible only to authorized persons or authorities.

Article 30
Complaints during travel are handled by staff; written complaints by authorized representatives. Disputes fall under Croatian jurisdiction.

Article 31
These conditions enter into force on the adoption date. The carrier may modify them in accordance with law and EU regulations.

Article 32
Online ticket sales are governed by separate internet sales terms.
